Capillary-Assembly-Blunt  G0198 Blunt Tip Capillary Assembly

This capillary functions as both a DME and HMDE in the Model 303A.  Capillary i.d. is 0.16 mm and is fashioned from borosilicate glass with the upper end coated with tin oxide to provide electrical contact to mercury.  The tip is blunt to decrease maxima effects. 
 
 Capillary-Assembly-Beveled  G0199 Beveled Tip Capillary Assembly

This capillary functions as both a DME and HMDE in the Model 303A.  Capillary i.d. is 0.16 mm and is fashioned from borosilicate glass with the upper end coated with tin oxide to provide electrical contact to mercury.  The tip is beveled.

This solution is used to siliconize the G0198, G0199 and G0200 capillaries.  The solution is a 5% (v/v) solution of dichlorodimethylsilane in carbon tetrachloride in ten 1 mL ampoules.  Each ampoule is sealed under nitrogen.
